FAQ
What is the A440 tone?
440 Hz is the standard concert pitch for the note A above middle C. Set the frequency to 440 to tune to it.
Why does it show a note and cents?
So musicians can use it as a reference pitch. Cents show how far the chosen frequency is from the nearest in-tune note.
Is the sound safe?
Start at a low volume, especially with headphones and high frequencies. Loud tones can be harsh and fatiguing.
