This tool scans your file, finds the first and last point that rises above your threshold, and crops the silence on either end. Great for tightening one-shots, vocal takes and samples before you load them.
How to use it
Drop a file, set the threshold (-50 dBFS is a good start), click Process and download the trimmed WAV.
FAQ
What threshold should I use?
-50 dBFS catches most room noise. Raise it toward -40 if quiet noise is not being trimmed, lower it toward -60 if the start is being clipped.
Does it trim silence in the middle?
No, it only trims the start and end so your sound stays intact.
