Audio Joiner & Merger
Audio Joiner & Merger
Add two or more files, put them in order, choose a gap or a crossfade between them, and download a single WAV. Sample rates are matched automatically and the files never leave your device.
| # | File | Length | Rate | Order |
|---|
Output is 16-bit stereo WAV at the sample rate of the first file. A crossfade overlaps the end of one file with the start of the next; a gap inserts silence. Use one or the other.
Merge audio files without a DAW
Joining takes, stitching a podcast intro to an episode, assembling a sample pack preview or building a continuous mix should not require opening a session or uploading private audio to a server. This joiner decodes each file in your browser, converts everything to the sample rate of the first file, lines them up in the order you choose, and writes one WAV. Add a short gap for clean separation or a crossfade for a seamless blend.
Crossfade length
Ten to thirty milliseconds removes clicks between cuts of the same recording. Half a second to two seconds blends songs or ambiences. For a DJ-style mix, cut the files to beat boundaries first with the Audio Cutter, then crossfade over one or two bars.
Output format
The result is a 16-bit stereo WAV, which every player and DAW opens. Mono files are duplicated to both channels. Convert to MP3 afterwards with the Audio to MP3 Converter if you need a smaller file.
FAQ
Can I merge MP3 and WAV files together?
Yes. Each file is decoded, resampled to the first file's rate if needed, and written to a single WAV.
Is there a file size or count limit?
Only your device's memory. A dozen songs is fine on a laptop; very long files may be slow on phones.
Will the files be uploaded?
No. Everything runs in the browser with the Web Audio API.
How do I get an MP3 instead of a WAV?
Download the joined WAV, then run it through the Audio to MP3 Converter on this site.
