Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Most US music retailers start their holiday pricing the week before. How low those prices go is mostly the brand's call. Most pro audio hardware sold in the US is covered by minimum advertised price (MAP) rules, which means the brand sets the lowest price a store can advertise. As a result, a Neve or a Neumann rarely drops by much, and real Black Friday value in hardware tends to arrive as a brand-wide promotion: instant rebates, plugin bundles or free extras. Plugins, on the other hand, get cut hard every November.

How many keys do I need for making beats?
25 to 49. 25 keys is enough for drums and melodies on a small desk; 49 lets you play chords with both hands.

Only if you play piano seriously. Semi-weighted keys are lighter and faster for synths, drums and beat-making.
