A reverb only sounds musical when its pre‑delay is in time with the track. The PreDelay makes that automatic. Drop it on a reverb send and it syncs to your project's BPM — so your pre‑delay lands on a real note value (a 1/4, a 1/8, whatever you pick) instead of a random number of milliseconds.

Now the attack of the sound stays clear and up front, and the reverb tail steps in right behind it, locked to the tempo. Pick your note — say a 1/4 — and you hear the start of the sound cleanly first, then a clean, musical reverb. Your reverbs stop piling up and washing into each other — everything sits tight, tidy and in the pocket.
