This course is based on my personal mixing philosophy. I made it for people who want to make their beats, demos, and songs sound safe, clean, and decent without getting lost in complicated techniques. For a long time, I struggled with that myself. I was not trying to make the most advanced mix in the world — I just wanted my music to sound good enough to upload, send to artists, and feel confident about it.
After interviewing more than 120 working engineers and producers, I realized that a lot of great mixing comes down to simple ideas, clear decisions, and solid fundamentals. This course is my way of breaking that down into a practical and easy-to-follow system.
In a way, I see this course as a prequel to more advanced material like Mixer Brain by Jeff Ellis. My philosophy is about helping you reach that safe and decent level first. Once you understand these basic rules and principles, you can start breaking them, develop your own taste, and move on to the next stage of mixing with more confidence.
This course is mainly for producers, artists, and beginners, but even more advanced mixers might still find something useful in this approach.
